AUTUMN 2010 NEWSLETTER
What a great start to 2010 with our first two forums being very successful.
In February, Mary Saunders of Sage Insights delivered an engaging, dynamic and interactive forum as we delved into discovering our core strengths and learned to recognise our blind spots. Mary captivated us as we shook hands, marched/strolled/wandered around the room in groups, and laughed as we learned.
To celebrate International Women’s Day in March we were inspired by Australian fashion icon, Paula Stafford. Many of us were joined by family as we listened to Paula’s life story, and shared memories of inspirational women from our own journeys.
A competition to create a winning bikini design brought out the designer in all of us, with laughter interspersed by some industrial espionage!
I hope you can join us for the April Lunch Forum with Sam Beau Patrick, and learn about changes that could be affecting many women today.
Welcome to all our new and renewing members; I look forward to getting to know you as we grow and learn together. Members are now able to update their own details on the BWI website, so please check your entry & contact Angela for your password to update.
Thank you as always to our valued Corporate Members, raffle prize donors, and Ice Breakers sponsors. We couldn’t do it without you.
Have an awesome Autumn.

APRIL LUNCH FORUM
Are Hormones Making YOU Wild?
With Sam Beau Patrick
Sam will discuss the emerging hormone epidemic
affecting many Australian women, in particular,
working women.
Sam will also discuss the emerging syndrome of Female Hormone Disorder, which is a cluster of common hormone problems leading to stress, sex and sugar hormone changes.
Her book, Beauty and the Beast Within, has received much media attention as it accurately relays how hundreds of women around Australia are feeling. Undervalued, over worked and out-of-balance.
We look forward to you joining us to be inspired and motivated by Sam and other business and professional women.
Friday 9th April, 2010 from 12.30pm

Committee is a great chance to learn more about how BWI operates, add your skills to those of the other members, and have input to our Forums and other events. Committee meets one evening per month for one and a half hours.
If you’d like to participate please let Angela know, or talk to any of the Committee members (listed on the website).
